Google Question Answered
Tim, you and I were talking about google a little while ago and I said that I made a piece about that. You can find that on this Googe link.More importantly I fell into playing Google Fight for many minutes. I think this was the one I was telling you about where it takes two searches and competes to see which has the most hits.
The game Capture the Map, sort of does the same thing too.
Also, one last google note. I have been a big fan of the google bar. Primarily the "highlight" option. Well, There is a new Google Toolbar 3 Beta available. Google toolbars automatically update without the hassle of making upgrades. This toolbar is still under Beta, which is why these options aren't available yet (unless you download this now). There are three major additions that I like.
1. The SpellCheck button finds any spelling mistakes whenever you type into a web form, including web-based email, discussion forums, and even intranet web applications.
2. The AutoLink button: hyperlinked addresses etc on a webpage...click the Toolbar's AutoLink button and it will automatically create a link to an online map. If there are multiple ones on a page you can select which one to view as you click the button. AutoLink can also link package tracking numbers to delivery status, VIN numbers (US) to vehicle history, and publication ISBN numbers to Amazon.com listings. It works on some things and not others. I like it.
3. Wordtranslator: Ever need to translate words on English web pages into another language? Don't bother looking up words one by one - just hover your mouse cursor over an English word and Toolbar's WordTranslator will tell you what it means in your own language. WordTranslator currently supports translation from English into Chinese (Traditional and Simplified), Japanese, Korean, French, Italian, German and Spanish.
so say what you think about it all!
